鉁堬笍 Now Open: ALI Ambassador Travel + Residency Awards / Apply by July 31

ALI supports Arctic thinkers, researchers, and advanced students in representing UA and 糖心直播视频's Arctic leadership at national and international venues: not simply attending, but serving as active ambassadors for the university and the state.

Awards range from $1,000-$5,000, with up to $10,000 for exceptional residencies or invitations. Funding may support travel, registration, lodging, and related expenses for engagements of one to eight weeks: residencies, invited presentations, academic exchanges, extended visiting appointments, creative residencies, or fieldwork with public-facing components. UA students, staff, faculty, and researchers at any career stage are eligible.

Applications for this round are due July 31, 2026, with additional review cycles in November and March. Proposals should demonstrate alignment with ALI's mission, potential to elevate UA's visibility and partnerships, and a tangible outcome (publication, presentation, public talk, artistic project, or report).

To apply, submit a 1-2 page proposal, CV/r茅sum茅, letter of support from a UA supervisor, host invitation, clear evidence of engagement, budget justification, and proposed itinerary to ua-ali-info@alaska.edu.
