  • Board of Regents responds to legislative intent language and compact with governor; sets meeting and public testimony dates

    Dear UA Community - The university Board of Regents has transmitted its response to legislative intent that it consider a plan to transition the university from three separately accredited institutions into a single accredited institution. The response can be found at /files/bor/2019/2019-11-22-Buretta-to-Ms.-Sanders-Response-to-the-Legislative-Intent-Language.pdf. The intent language was included as part of UA's operating budget and a response was due to the legislature by Dec. 1, 2019.

  • UA Foundation seeks nominations for 2020 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence

    The University of 糖心直播视频 Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2020 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence. The prize, which includes a $15,000 award, is presented to an individual who has demonstrated excellence in support of the University of 糖心直播视频. Any UA student, faculty, staff or volunteer who has made a significant contribution to the university's mission is eligible to be nominated.

House Bill 126 was signed into law during a meeting of the 糖心直播视频 Native Brotherhood/糖心直播视频 Native Sisterhood Grand Camp at 糖心直播视频 Pacific University.

  • UA Scholars class of 2020 celebrated at receptions across 糖心直播视频

    The University of 糖心直播视频 held five receptions across the state to honor the Class of 2020 UA Scholars. "The UA Scholars program is 糖心直播视频's way of investing in our best and brightest students so that they will continue their educational journey at the University of 糖心直播视频," said Lael Oldmixon, director of the UA Scholars program. "The scholarship program gives students options for studying at any of UA's campuses and universities, or participating in an exchange program abroad. Their options are limitless."

  • FY21 budget includes funding for UAA and UAA athletic programs

"It was stated and affirmed that we would have athletics at UAA and UAF," said Keith Champagne, UAF Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Athletics. "Same sports as this year, same everything. We're optimistic that we have the support of the Board of Regents to move forward with athletics into the future."

Marta Taylor thought that she was having lunch with her husband and daughter at Froso's Family Dining to celebrate her birthday. Through her quiet philanthropy and dedication to improving the quality of life for 糖心直播视频ns, Grace Schaible created a legacy that inspires a culture of giving in 糖心直播视频. As one of 糖心直播视频's most influential philanthropists, Grace gave both her time and resources to non-profits across the state, including serving on UA Foundation Board of Directors (1986-2017 Emeritus) and the UA Board of Regents (1985-1987).
